Simon Horobin, a tutor in English at Magdalen College in Oxford, takes a tour of C.S. Lewis's Oxford, starting at the entrance to Magdalen College on the High Street. Lewis spent nearly 30 years at Magdalen as a Tutorial Fellow in English. The tour passes through St John's Quad, the President's Lodgings, the college chapel, and the New Building, where Lewis had a set of rooms and the Inklings met to discuss their works. The tour also visits Addison's Walk, where Lewis converted to theism, and Hollywell Ford, where a plaque features one of Lewis's poems.

The tour continues down the High Street, passing The Eastgate Hotel, where Lewis met Joy Davidman, and the Examination Schools, where Lewis lectured. It also visits University College, where Lewis spent his undergraduate years, and the University Church of St Mary the Virgin, where Lewis gave his famous sermon "The Weight of Glory" in 1941. The tour stops at St Mary's Passage, where a doorway with carvings of fauns and a lion is said to be the inspiration for Narnia.

Lewis's life in Oxford is also explored, including his time as an undergraduate during World War I, his studies in Literae Humaniores, and his later academic career. He was awarded a double first and later studied for an Honours degree in English Language and Literature. Lewis's home, The Kilns, is also mentioned, which is now open to visitors.
