Summary

High water Strangford 11:53 BST, high water Peel 22:38 BST, Peel flap gate open approx. 2.5hrs either side of HW Peel. The EDYC Peel Race from Strangford Lough to Peel Harbour is open to yachts registered with the Strangford Lough Regatta Conference, with rules following ISAF and RYA prescriptions. Yachts must be equipped to RORC Category 3 level. Classes include IRC and NHC, with start times at 11:10, 11:20, and 11:30 for Classes 3, 2, and 1, respectively. The course goes from Strangford Lough to Peel Harbour, with a finishing line at the breakwater and a time limit of 20:30 BST. Retiring yachts must advise the Race Organisers, and the race may be abandoned due to unsuitable conditions. Results will be posted at Peel Sailing Club, with prizegiving at 21:00, and awards for the first yacht in each class. Berthing information and fees are available from the Peel Harbour Master Office.
