Summary

A Remote Operated Unmanned Vessel (ROUV) named "Accession" will conduct training operations in Falmouth Harbour from June 30th to July 1st, 2022. The 4.25m long vessel will be launched from Mylor Slipway at approximately 0500 on Thursday and escorted by the support boat "Moonray" to Falmouth Bay. During the day, it will display a white light with red and green sidelights; it will be visible on AIS and adhere to collision regulations. Moonray will return to Mylor after dropping off Accession in safe water and remain on standby throughout the training period. The ROUV is planned to operate within categorised waters for 24 hours, both on line plans and at virtual anchor. On Friday, Moonray will meet Accession in the Bay around 0530 and escort it back to Mylor for recovery.
