Secure2u is a security feature for Maybank2u Biz transactions, available on the Maybank2u Biz app, which pairs a device with a Maybank2u Biz account for an extra level of security. It sends notification alerts for selected transactions, allowing approval or rejection within 50 seconds. Secure2u is required for certain transactions, including fund transfers and payments, and can be registered through the M2U Biz app. A stable internet connection is needed to approve transactions, and it can be used overseas. De-registration is possible through the Maybank2u Biz web or M2U Biz app, but it will not revert to SMS TAC authorization. Secure2u can only be tied to one device per ID number, with minimum device requirements of Android OS V9.0 and iOS V12.0. If a new device is used, Secure2u must be activated again, and there is a minimum 12-hour activation period. In case of a lost phone, Secure2u should be deregistered as soon as possible.
