1. Remove ground cable, drain 0.35L of fluid, and remove pulley belt cover bracket.
2. Loosen oil pump pulley nut, remove alternator bolts, loosen pulley belt, and remove oil pump pulley.
3. Disconnect pipes, remove oil pump bolts, and detach the pump and bracket.
4. Place oil pump in a vise, remove oil tank bolts, and detach oil tank.
5. Remove O-ring, stay, and other components for inspection.
Check removed parts for wear and damage, and replace if necessary, including oil pump, pulley, cap, strainer, and O-ring.
Measure play of pulley shaft, ditch deflection, and resistance to rotation, and replace parts if they exceed service limits.
Disassemble oil pump by removing pulley, snap ring, bearing, oil seal, shaft, and other components.
Inspect and repair or replace defective parts, including control valve, shaft, and pressure switch.
