Purpose:
- Restricts wavelengths of sunlight to control algae and aquatic vegetation.
- Colors the water blue.

Precautions & Hazards:
- Harmful if swallowed, absorbed through skin, or comes into contact with eyes.
- Causes moderate eye irritation.
- Prolonged or frequent skin contact may lead to allergic reactions.
- Avoid contact with clothing and wash thoroughly after handling.

Environmental Hazards:
- May cause contact burns to shoreline non-target plants if accidentally poured on them.
- Apply only as specified, avoiding weather conditions that favor drift from target area.
- Do not apply where runoff is likely to occur.

Usage:
- Use in natural or man-made ponds, lakes, fountains, golf courses, and swimming ponds under user's complete control with minimal outflow.
- Do not apply directly to streams or bodies of water used for human consumption.
- Reapply as needed during the growing season.

Application Procedures:
- Apply directly from container near shoreline or pour on ice covering a body of water to disperse into the water beneath.
- Follow label restrictions, precautions, and directions for use when combining with other aquatic weed control methods.

Dosage Rates:
- 1 ppm for controlling certain weeds at depths greater than 2 feet (e.g., filamentous blue/green algae, Chara, etc.).
- 2 ppm for preventing Hydrilla tuber production after an herbicide treatment.

Storage & Disposal:
- Store above 32°F (0°C) to prevent freezing.
- Dispose of wastes, containers, and residues at approved waste disposal facilities or as specified by local authorities.
