Summary

As an agent, you need to connect your agent leg upon logging in and possibly throughout the day. The agent leg connects the agent interface and phone, ensuring seamless calls. You connect by answering incoming calls on your phone or app. When connected, your phone or app won't ring for new calls, and you address calls through your headset. This process applies to all voice contacts, but not email or chat contacts unless you're making callbacks. Use the MAX Agent for transfers and call controls to remain connected and prevent routing additional contacts. Only use your desk phone or app for answering calls to connect the agent leg or making non-queued calls, and set your unavailable state accordingly.
