Summary

The Atmel ATECC108 is a secure authentication and product validation device featuring a high-speed public key algorithm crypto engine, elliptic curve digital signature algorithm (ECDSA), and SHA-256 hash algorithm. It has a 256/283-bit key length, stores up to 16 keys, and has a guaranteed unique 72-bit serial number. The device supports multiple I/O options, including a high-speed single pin interface and 1MHz standard I2C interface. It operates within a 2.0V – 5.5V supply voltage range and has an ultra-low sleep current of <150nA. The ATECC108 is designed for various applications, including anti-clone, secure boot validation, network and computer access control, and authenticated/encrypted network communications.
