Assembly Steps:

1. Attach Extension Arms: Use 4" U-Bolts, lock washers, and nuts to secure the extension arm support at the desired rim height (or ground level for a 10' playing level). Attach lower arms with hex bolts, locknuts, and nylon flat washers; then attach upper arms and Insta-Just bracket using the same hardware.

2. Install I-Frame Backboard Support: Bolt the I-Frame support to the lower extension arms (face forward) with a hex bolt, locknut, and nylon washers. Also, bolt the Insta-Just bracket to pivot point G. Attach upper extension arms to the I-Frame. Ensure proper backboard type (tempered glass or clear acrylic) and install rim grommets/gaskets accordingly.

3. Hang Backboard: Remove shipping block, hang backboard on I-Frame, and bolt the Backboard I-Frame support to the top of the backboard using 5/16" hardware.

4. Attach Bottom of I-Frame: Loosely attach the bottom of the I-Frame to the aluminum frame of the backboard with 5/16" hardware.

5. Install Rim: Secure the rim with hardware provided in the rim box, ensuring grommets (for tempered glass) or gaskets (for acrylic) are correctly placed.

6. Tighten Hardware: Tighten 5/16" hardware holding the I-Frame support to the backboard frame, then all bolts, ensuring levelness and squareness. For ground-level installations, do not tighten U-Bolts yet.

7. Adjust Rim Height: Use a broomstick in the adjustment mechanism's notch to lower or raise the rim in 6" increments from regulation 10' down to 7½'.

Helpful Tips:
- For easier assembly, loop a rope over pivot point H and attach it to a spring before pulling down to extend it.
- To raise or lower the rim, place a broomstick under (not into) the adjustment mechanism for raising, or directly behind the backboard for lowering.
