- Safety:
- The stove's outer casing, front, and glass panel become extremely hot during operation, posing burn risks, especially around young children, the elderly, or infirm. Use a BS 8423-compliant fireguard.
- Do not burn rubbish in the stove. Keep it clean and well-ventilated.
- Maintain a 1-meter clearance from the stove to furniture and other items.
- Store fuel nearby but not on or next to the stove. Never leave it unattended with combustible material nearby.
- Do not obstruct ventilation. Sweep the chimney annually.
- Do not connect or share the same flue with another appliance.
- Use Stovax's gauntlet-style gloves for safety when operating the stove.

- Installation & Use:
- The stove must be fitted by a registered installer or approved by local building control.
- Comply with local regulations and national/European standards.
- Use only approved fuels. Do not use liquid fuels or as an incinerator.
- Install an electronic carbon monoxide detector conforming to BSEN50291.
- Do not make unauthorized changes to the appliance.

- Operation:
- Before first use, operate the stove at a low temperature for a few days to allow it to settle and fix glues and paint to cure.
- Use the correct type of seasoned fuel and stacking methods for optimal performance.
- Set air controls to 50% when not in use to prevent moisture buildup.
- Always maintain some flame within the firebox to ensure proper combustion.
- To create an open stack for top-down lighting, use specific log and kindling placement.

- Maintenance:
- The chimney must be swept at least once a year.
- Regularly service and maintain the appliance and chimney system.
