- Ristretto: concentrated, stronger espresso, same coffee amount, less water
- Espresso: strong aromatic coffee, thick hazelnut-brown froth (crema)
- Coffee: differs from espresso by increased water and roast of beans
- Lungo: coffee with significantly more water
- Long black: hot water and two shots of espresso
- Caffè Americano: equal proportions of espresso and hot water
Coffee drinks made with milk
- Cappuccino: 2/3 milk froth, 1/3 espresso
- Latte macchiato: 1/3 hot milk, 1/3 milk froth, 1/3 espresso
- Caffè latte: espresso and hot milk
- Cappuccino Italiano: same proportions as cappuccino, espresso added first
- Espresso macchiato: espresso with small amount of milk froth
- Flat white: cappuccino with more espresso than milk froth
- Café au lait: French-style coffee, coffee and milk froth

- Cancel drink: press Stop or Cancel
- DoubleShot: select for strong, aromatic coffee
- Making two portions: place two cups, tap
- Using milk flask: fill with milk, push into machine
Making tea
- Place tea filter/tea bag in cup
- Select type of tea on display
Pot function
- Place container under main dispenser
- Select pot function, number of cups
Expert mode
- Allocate bean type temporarily
- Change portion size during preparation
Cleaning and maintenance
- Daily: milk flask, milk valve, water container, drip tray
