The MFT1701 series is a range of 4 instruments for testing low voltage electrical installations to BS7671, providing all necessary tests for industrial, commercial, and domestic fixed wiring installations. The series includes the MFT1711, MFT1721, MFT1731, and MFT1741 models, with features such as TRMS system voltage and frequency measurement, insulation test, continuity resistance, automatic start, and earth loop test. The MFT1741 model includes a "Confidence Meter" for enhanced Earth Loop Impedance testing in electrically noisy environments and enhanced loop testing hardware to remove the effects of RCD on loop impedance values. All instruments are IEC 61010 CAT IV 300 V rated and have a unique modern styling, allowing for easy operation and safety features such as input protection and audible safety warnings. The series is fully compliant with IEC 60364 derived standards, including VDE 0100 and BS 7671, and includes features such as two and three wire non-trip loop testing, comprehensive RCD testing, and integrated 3-terminal and stakeless clamp techniques for earth electrode testing.
