## Sennheiser Control Cockpit v7.1 Release Notes: Key Updates and Improvements

This document summarizes the key changes and enhancements in Sennheiser Control Cockpit version 7.1.

New Features and Improvements:

Security Enhancements:

- SSL Encryption: Application interface now protected by default SSL encryption (conveniently set up during installation).
- User Access Password: A user access password for Control Cockpit is established after the first start for enhanced security.

Product Support:

- New support for: Evolution Wireless Digital EM 2 DANTE, EW-DX Tablestand, and EW-DX CHG70N-C Charger.

TeamConnect Ceiling Medium Features:

- Configurable primary and secondary IP settings for Dante.
- "Dante Default Settings" button to reset all Dante settings.
- Configure Dante network port as "single cable mode" or "split mode".

Evolution Wireless Digital Features:

- Extended "Mute Config" feature supporting new mute modes ("Push to talk" and "Push to mute") for EW-DX Tablestand transmitters.

Known Issues:

- SSL certificate warnings upon first start due to self-signed certificate (can be addressed using a trusted certificate).
- Limitations with proxy configuration and firmware updates.
- Potential issues saving Dante settings immediately after powering on EM 2 Dante devices.
- Infinite identification state for devices when new identifications occur during ongoing ones.
- Requirements for "Location" field entry in TeamConnect Ceiling devices.
- Limited functionality in demo mode for Zone functions of TeamConnect Ceiling 2 devices.
- Post-factory reset display issues for existing TeamConnect Ceiling Medium devices.
- Potential offline status for SLDW4CH/SLDW2CH devices when manually added via IP with mDNS disabled (refresh page to confirm current status).
- Limited connectivity for evolution G3 and G4 devices to local subnets only.
