- Ensure a proper location for exhaust installation, separate electrical circuits (15/20-amp for gas, 30-amp for electric), grounded electrical outlet within 2 ft., sturdy floor supporting 200 lbs, level floor with maximum slope of 1" (25 mm).
- Electrical Requirements (U.S.A. only):
- Electric dryer: 30-amp, 120/240-volt, type SRD/SRDT power supply cord, strain relief.
- Gas dryer: 15/20-amp, 120-volt, type SE or SO power supply cord, strain relief.
- Gas Supply Requirements:
- 3/4" or 1/2" gas supply line, pipe-joint compound resistant to LP gas.
- Installation Steps:
- Install leveling legs.
- Make electrical connection (U.S.A. only): power supply cord or direct wire connection.
- Make gas connection (if applicable).
- Venting: Plan vent system, install venting kit, connect inlet hoses and vent, level dryer.
- Complete installation checklist.
- Optional: Reverse door swing.
- Troubleshooting & Installation Notes: Include date of purchase, installation, installer's name, model and serial numbers, and any notes concerning the installation.
