Summary

De Key Surgical® Endo-Scrub droge spons is bestemd voor gebruik bij het verwijderen van grof vuil tijdens de voorafgaande reiniging en desinfectie. Er zijn geen contra-indicaties en/of bijwerkingen bekend. Alleen eenmalig gebruik is toegestaan, omdat hergebruik kan leiden tot kruisbesmetting tussen patiënten. De spons kan worden gebruikt om grof vuil te verwijderen met of zonder reinigingsoplossing. Het gebruik omvat het plaatsen van de spons rondom de inbrengslang van de endoscoop, het afvegen van de endoscoop om grof vuil te verwijderen en het spoelen van de spons totdat het externe oppervlak vrij is van grof vuil. Er zijn geen speciale opslagvoorwaarden en het product moet na gebruik worden weggegooid volgens het protocol van de instelling, zonder hergebruik. Ernstige incidenten die zich voordoen met betrekking tot dit medische hulpmiddel moeten worden gemeld bij de fabrikant en de bevoegde instantie in het land waarin het incident zich heeft voorgedaan.
