Summary

Loosen the head retention screw, remove the microscope head, and set it aside. Place the Lumin Epi-Module onto the body, aligning the "groove" with the "tab" for i4 series microscopes, and rotate until seated. Position the module straight with the body and tighten the module retention screw. To use for bright field, push the black plunger in and adjust microscope illumination. For epi-fluorescence, turn off microscope illumination, pull out the plunger, and turn on the Epi-illuminator. Use black Lumin Light Absorption Cloth for a darker background. To return to bright field, push in the plunger, remove the cloth, and turn on microscope illumination. Finally, secure the eye-tubes, tighten the head retention screw, plug in the Epi-Module power adapter, and insert into an electrical outlet.
