Warning and Safety Precautions

Risk of electrical shock: do not open or remove covers

+ Remove plug from outlet before cleaning
+ Do not use in humid or wet places
+ Keep enough space for ventilation
+ Connect to a surge protector and uninterruptible power supply (UPS)

General Precautions

1. Read and follow instructions
2. Retain instructions for future reference
3. Heed warnings on the product and in the operating instructions
4. Operate only from the indicated power source
5. Do not overload wall outlets or extension cords
6. Protect power cords from damage
7. Use a surge protector
8. Connect to an uninterruptible power supply (UPS)
9. Ensure proper ventilation
10. Avoid water and moisture
11. Keep away from heat sources
12. Use only recommended accessories
13. Check camera extension cable ratings
14. Mount cameras as instructed
15. Install cameras in a sheltered area outdoors

Service

1. Do not attempt to service the product yourself
2. Refer servicing to qualified personnel under the following conditions:
Damaged power supply cord or plug
Liquid spill or object fallen into the product
Exposure to rain or water
* Product has been dropped or cabinet damaged
