Summary

GWInstek introduces the GPT-9900 Series, a new family of safety testers designed to meet the growing demand for higher power tests in electronic product compliance. The series comprises two models: GPT-9904 (4-in-1) and GPT-9903 (3-in-1), expanding upon the existing GPT-9800 series with 200VA output capacity.

Key Features:

- Power Output: Maximum AC 500VA output power, catering to higher power demands.
- Test Capabilities: Performs AC/DC withstanding, insulation resistance, and ground bond tests (GPT-9904); AC/DC withstanding and insulation resistance tests (GPT-9903).
- Efficiency & Stability: High-efficiency PWM amplifier design ensures 98% efficiency, reducing heat generation and enhancing reliability. Provides a stable output voltage within ±1%.
- Adjustable Test Parameters: Customizable test voltage (2V steps), current measurement (1A resolution, ±(1.5% + 30A) accuracy), and insulation resistance settings (50V steps).
- Safety Features: Automatic power cut-off upon voltage irregularities or current limits during tests; open-circuit detection for ground bond tests; zero crossing turn-on feature to prevent flashover.
- User Interface: Simple, clear panel layout with high resolution dot matrix LCD display and color LED indicators for easy interpretation of results.
- Additional Functions: 100 sets of memory, remote output control, signal I/O port, and optional RS-232C, USB, and GPIB interfaces for PC integration.
- Unique Sweep Function: Enables trace graph analysis of DUT characteristics by recording test results point by point based on applied voltage or current changes.
