Scope of Accreditation:

This annex outlines the specific measurement capabilities and ranges for which TRESCAL Hengelo B.V.'s calibration laboratory is accredited under EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017.

Calibration and Measurement Capability (CMC): Demonstrated uncertainty in measurements, with a coverage probability of 95%, within specified ranges for various measured quantities using different instruments. Uncertainty calculations follow EA-4/02 guidelines.

Measured Quantities, Instruments, and Ranges:

The laboratory is accredited to measure the following:

Dimensional Quantities: Gauge blocks (steel, tungsten carbide, ceramic) in various sizes, length gauges, comparative measures (steel), step gauges, and line scales (rulers).
Length Measuring Instruments: 1D-measuring machines (laser interferometers, Zerodur/Glass/Steel scales), handheld tools (vernier calipers, micrometers), and internal measurement tools.
Diameter and Length: Setting rings and ring gauges, pin gauges, plug gauges, thread wires, other external diameters, and internal diameters up to 300 mm.
Form Error: Roundness testers and other instruments for measuring roundness (both internal and external).
Surface Texture: Surface plates, roughness meters, and standards for Ra, Rz, and Rt (Rmax) measurements up to specified values.
Groove Depth: Groove depth standards up to 6 mm.
