Summary

Connect the RED wire to the POSITIVE side of the cell where the probe is installed and the BLACK wire to the NEGATIVE side of the fourth cell. Secure the sensor light housing using cable ties. Installation requires a drill, Phillips screwdriver, and insulated wire cutters, and involves drilling a 1/2" hole in the cell cover, trimming the probe, and inserting it through a grommet. The sensor needs 8-12 volts to function and the probe tip should be 1/4" above the plates or moss shield. LED color codes indicate battery status: blinking green for OK, blinking red for add water after next full charge.
