The LNBH26 is a dual LNBS supply and control IC with step-up and I²C interface, featuring a complete interface between LNB and I²C bus, built-in DC-DC converter, selectable output current limit, and compliant with main satellite receivers output voltage specification. It has applications in STB satellite receivers, TV satellite receivers, and PC card satellite receivers. The IC has a built-in 22 kHz tone generator, low drop post regulator, and high efficiency step-up PWM, with integrated power N-MOS allowing low power losses. It also has overload and overtemperature internal protection, LNB short-circuit dynamic protection, and +/- 4 kV ESD tolerant on output power pins. The LNBH26 is intended for analog and digital dual satellite receivers/Sat-TV, and Sat-PC cards, providing a complete solution for dual tuner satellite receivers with extremely low component count, low power dissipation, and simple design.
