1. Remove the safety selector, then drop the trigger into the lower receiver and insert the safety selector, ensuring the selector plunger groove aligns with the lower receiver plunger hole.
2. Confirm the safety selector drum rotates freely without interfering with the trigger tail.
3. Align the trigger bushing holes with the lower receiver trigger pin holes and insert the trigger pins.
4. Finger tighten anti-walk trigger pin screws, then locate and torque the preinstalled internal locking screws.
5. Apply blue Loctite to a second set of locking screws, install, and torque them.
6. Torque anti-walk trigger pin screws to the manufacturer's spec.
7. Install the safety plunger, safety spring, pistol grip, and upper receiver.
8. Perform a function check to ensure the trigger and safety work properly, and regularly check the trigger's torque after every 2500-3000 rounds.
