Summary

Designed for negative earth 12V DC operation only, avoid short circuits, and ensure proper connections.
Handle the bracket carefully and insulate loose wires.
Connect earth wires to a common point and the yellow and red power input leads last.
When combining with other stereo components, the car circuit's rating must be higher than the sum of each component's fuse.
If not, connect the unit directly to the battery.

Connection example and notes:
Connect the black earth lead first, then the yellow and red power input leads.
Be sure to connect the earth cord before connecting the amplifier.
If an optional power amplifier is connected and the built-in amplifier is not used, the beep sound will be deactivated.
The connection diagram shows the proper connections for the unit, including the power aerial control lead, AMP REMOTE IN, and interface cable.

Notes on the power supply cord and control leads:
The power aerial control lead supplies +12V DC when the tuner is turned on.
When the car has a built-in FM/AM aerial, connect the power aerial control lead or accessory power input lead to the power terminal of the existing aerial booster.
A power aerial without a relay box cannot be used with this unit.

Memory hold connection and speaker connection notes:
Power will always be supplied to the memory circuit when the yellow power input lead is connected.
Before connecting speakers, turn the unit off and use speakers with an impedance of 4 to 8 ohms.
Do not connect speaker terminals to the car chassis or connect the terminals of the right speakers with those of the left speaker.
Only connect passive speakers, and do not attempt to connect speakers in parallel.
