Before installation, the site to which the station will be attached should be inspected to determine if the surface is suitable for attachment and best cover option. Some surface preparation may be necessary before installation, including drilling holes to intercept feeding galleries in areas where termite feeding activity is detected.

The bait matrix should be moistened before securing the station in place, and the wetting agent should be fully absorbed before exposing the bait matrix. The opened side with access points must be exposed and in contact with the mounting surface where termite activity is present.
