The RSM-1 is a remote speaker-microphone for use with Linear's PERS consoles. It features an 8-ohm speaker and microphone in a plastic case that can be tabletop or wall mounted. Installation involves connecting wires to the 4-position terminal strip, with separate wire runs for the speaker and microphone. The speaker wire should be 18 AWG twisted pair for runs up to 50 feet, and 16 AWG for runs up to 100 feet. The microphone wire must be shielded two-conductor twisted cable, 24 AWG or larger.

- Speaker: 2-conductor 18 AWG twisted pair
- Microphone: Shielded 2-conductor 24 AWG twisted cable
- Terminal strip: 4-position, behind access cover

Wiring diagrams are provided for standard RSM-1/PERS-2400A and RSM-1/PERS-3600 connections. The RSM-1 should not be located near loud noise sources to ensure clear communication. The product is covered by a 12-month limited warranty, and all returns require a Return Product Authorization Number (RPA#).
