The author ultimately decided to mount the supercharger low down along the engine block, below and forward of the inlet manifold, after removing the power steering pump and air conditioning compressor. They fabricated a mounting bracket and relocated the power steering pump to the right side of the engine, using a wooden mock-up and eventually an aluminum bracket. The author also had to source new hoses and fittings, including a high-pressure hose from a Volvo 264, and relocate the fluid reservoir to the right side of the engine bay.
