Summary

The MAX41463/MAX41464 is a UHF sub-GHz ISM/SRD transmitter that transmits Frequency-Shift Keying (FSK) or Gaussian (G)FSK data in the 286MHz to 960MHz frequency range, with a fractional phase-locked-loop (PLL) that allows for a single, low-cost crystal to generate commonly used world-wide sub-GHz frequencies. It features preset modes with pin-selectable frequencies, a buffered clock-out signal, and optional programmable mode using an I2C interface. The device provides output power up to +13dBm into a 50Ω load while drawing < 12mA at 315MHz, and has a single-supply operation from +1.8V to +3.6V, with an auto-shutdown feature and fast oscillator wake-up. It is available in a 10-pin TSSOP package and is specified over the -40°C to +105°C extended temperature range, with applications including building automation, wireless sensors, remote keyless entry, and internet of things (IoT) devices.
