VACON Advanced Safety Options operate safety functions via PROFIsafe fieldbus or I/O control, improving flexibility by connecting safety devices within a plant, and are suitable for highly flexible machines with modular safety zones. The options add nine safety functions, including Safe Stop and Safe Speed functions, and are implemented according to EN 61800-5-2, IEC 61508, EN ISO 13849-1, IEC 61511-1, and EN 62061.
