Summary

Use of FTDI devices in life support and/or safety applications is entirely at the user’s risk, and the user agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless FTDI from any and all damages, claims, suits or expense resulting from such use. The VDrive3 is a USB host/microcontroller application module with an enclosure, utilizing FTDI's Vinculum-II dual USB host controller IC, and is designed to support quick and easy integration of a UART/SPI application with a USB client device. It features a pre-programmed V2DAP firmware, USB "A" type socket, 2mm pitch 8-pin header for UART/SPI interface, and jumper-selectable UART and SPI interfaces. The VDrive3 is available with or without a lid covering the USB port, and its components are Pb-free and RoHS compliant.
