1. Watch for misapplied Earn Codes.
2. Hours must be submitted on the day worked.
3. Approval deadline is 2:00 p.m. on the Monday of pay week.
4. Timesheets can be approved at any time.
5. Remind employees to check Leave Balances.
6. Use Return for Correction when sufficient time exists.
7. Contact Payroll Services for help.

TIMESHEET SUMMARY:
1. Log in to www.banweb.mtu.edu.
2. Click Employees menu.
3. Click Time Sheet – Web Time Entry link.
4. Click Approve or Acknowledge Time.
5. Select pay period and sort order.

REVIEWING & APPROVING A TIMESHEET:
1. Review links for Comments or Labor Overrides.
2. Click employee’s name.
3. Review submitted timesheet.
4. Click Approve or Return for Correction.

RETURN FOR CORRECTION:
1. Click Return for Correction.
2. Instruct employee to revise and resubmit.

OVERRIDING A TIME ENTRY:
1. Click Change Time Record link.
2. Correct hours or entry.
3. Click Save.
4. Notify employee of corrections.

DESIGNATING A PROXY:
1. Log in to www.banweb.mtu.edu.
2. Click Employees menu.
3. Click Time Sheet – Web Time Entry link.
4. Click Proxy Set Up link.
5. Select proxy from dropdown box.
6. Click Save.
