The Region of Crete's General Directorate of Sustainable Development, Directorate of Education, Employment and Commerce, Department of Commerce, announces the final results of the tender for the issuance of new licenses and rights to operate in the street trade in the Region of Crete.

The tender was announced on June 14, 2023, and concerned 48 new licenses and 4 positions-rights to operate for producers-sellers in the street trade in the Region of Crete, as well as 20 new licenses for professional sellers (categories A, B, C, D) and 5 positions-rights to operate for professional sellers (all categories) in the street trade in the Region of Crete that were not allocated through the 2022 tender.

The final results are as follows:

A) Producers-Sellers:
- 8 individuals are approved for new licenses.

B) Professional Sellers:
- 1 individual is approved for a position with the right to operate in the Region of Crete.
- New licenses are approved for:
- Category A: 3 individuals
- Category B: 1 individual
- Category C: None
- Category D: 1 individual
- Category E: 15 individuals

C) Rejected Applications:
- 1 application was rejected due to incomplete submission of tax and insurance certificates.

D) Obligations of the final beneficiaries:
- They must submit an application for a new license and operating right within 30 days of notification.
- They must submit the original documents attached to their application to the relevant authorities.
- They must provide the required documents of the Joint Ministerial Decision 14883/2023 within 6 months of notification, with the possibility of extension for an additional 6 months.
