Summary

Os Técnicos Superiores de Bibliotecas Escolares (TSBE) visam promover a leitura e o desenvolvimento de competências nos alunos, especialmente no 1º ciclo, através de atividades lúdicas e didáticas nas bibliotecas escolares. As principais linhas de orientação incluem: promover a animação das bibliotecas, criar estratégias de animação da leitura, divulgar o livro, apoiar os alunos na aquisição de competências básicas, publicitar as bibliotecas e contribuir para o sucesso educativo dos alunos. Os TSBE realizam reuniões gerais e de minigrupo para promover a articulação entre escolas e bibliotecas e programar projetos e atividades relacionados à literatura infantil.
