The committee consisted of representatives from various colleges and departments, including Agricultural Sciences, Health and Human Sciences, Business, Engineering, Liberal Arts, Natural Resources, Natural Sciences, Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Libraries, and Tenured Faculty.

Meetings: The committee met 17 times during the academic year, focusing on proposals and recommendations to improve the circumstances of Non-Tenure Track Faculty (NTTF) at CSU.

Key Discussions and Actions:

Discussed proposal progress and next steps with CoFG and CoRSAF
Created a fact sheet and Q&A document to address frequently asked questions about the proposal
Researched the history of NTTF at CSU and gathered data on appointment types, status, and voting rights
Prepared a summary document and chart to highlight proposed changes to the Faculty Manual
Presented at various meetings and events, including Campus Equity Week and Faculty Council meetings

Proposal Documents and Committee Process:

Prepared a fact sheet, Q&A document, and summary document to explain the proposed changes to NTTF roles
Researched the history of NTTF at CSU and created a spreadsheet to illustrate the potential impact of NTTF voting in Faculty Council

Other Committee Business:

Elected new leadership and members, including Jenny Morse as Chair and Natalie Ooi as Vice Chair
Expected to implement changes to the Faculty Manual and provide guidance on offer letters and appointment types
Planned to create a record of grievances and issues brought to the committee and encourage NTTF voting representatives on Faculty Council Standing Committees.
