Polish-American military cooperation was strengthened by a Joint Declaration on Defense Cooperation signed by the presidents of Poland and the USA on June 12, 2019. 53% of adult Poles positively received the declaration, while 15% had a negative attitude and 32% had no opinion. The main reasons for positive reception were increased security and defense (51%), deterrence of Russia (15%), and securing American support (11%). Negative assessments were motivated by the costs of maintaining American troops in Poland (28%) and the conviction that it would not bring Poland any benefits (21%). The declaration coincided with the decision to purchase 32 American F-35 aircraft, which was positively assessed by 45% of Poles.

Regarding the Roman Catholic Church in Poland, 51% of respondents believed the Church's reaction to accusations of paedophilia was inappropriate, and 67% thought it was insufficient. 60% of Poles mentioned paedophilia of priests as one of the most serious problems facing the Church. The disclosure of cases of sexual abuse negatively affected the Church's image, with the proportion of people assessing the Church's activity well decreasing from 57% to 48% from March to July 2019.
