Summary

An Min Wang proposes a universal quantum network, called Quantum Central Processing Unit (QCPU), which can implement general quantum computing. QCPU has two basic elements, "Rotator" and "Transitor", and two auxiliary elements, and is standard, easy-assembled, and scaleable. It can be connected together to implement general quantum algorithms and quantum simulating procedures. QCPU acts on a k-qubit register and a single auxiliary qubit, implementing a general quantum computation, and its reversible operation can be obtained. The proposal provides a direct expression for the quantum network, which does not require pre-computation, and has potential applications in quantum computing and simulating.
