The Province's Roadmap to Reopen is a three-step plan to safely lift public health measures, based on vaccination rates and improvement in key public health indicators. As of May 22, outdoor recreational amenities such as soccer fields, tennis, and basketball courts will reopen. However, outdoor team sports and recreational classes are not permitted until Step 1, estimated to begin on June 14.

The three steps are:
Step 1: 60% of adults vaccinated with one dose, allowing outdoor gatherings of up to 10 people, outdoor dining, and non-essential retail at 15% capacity.
Step 2: 70% of adults vaccinated with one dose and 20% with two doses, expanding outdoor activities and resuming limited indoor services.
* Step 3: 70-80% of adults vaccinated with one dose and 25% with two doses, expanding access to indoor settings with restrictions.

The province will remain at each step for at least 21 days to evaluate impacts on public health indicators. Residents are reminded to practice physical distancing, wear masks, and follow posted signage. All other COVID-19 restrictions remain in effect until the Stay at Home order expires on June 2, 2021.
