Elections for the renewal of the Board of Directors and the Board of Auditors (2013-2017): The president declared the voting closed at 2:35 PM and invited the assembly to appoint members of the scrutiny committee. The following members were unanimously appointed: Doctors Bruno Cambiotti, Gianluca Casagrande, Nadia Fusco, Orazio La Greca, Sandra Leonardi, and Pierluigi Magistri. The Secretary General, Doctor Simone Bozzato, presided over the committee. The president received 285 valid ballots and two invalid ones, and the scrutiny began in an adjacent public room.

2. Report on activities carried out in 2012: The president read the following report:
- The Society actively participated in scientific-cultural debates, integrating research with cultural activities, international relations, and environmental and landscape dimensions.
- Despite the economic crisis, the Society successfully planned and implemented various scientific-cultural activities in collaboration with public authorities, businesses, and citizens.
- The Society's headquarters and various locations hosted events, with a focus on bringing geographical culture outside the Society's walls, both nationally and internationally.
- The Society strengthened its relationships with local institutions, ministries, and international partners, involving its members in projects.
- The Society improved the comfort and flexibility of its library, archives, and event spaces.
- The Society collaborated with various ministries and local entities to valorize, plan, and realize shared scientific-cultural activities.
- The Society participated in international events, such as the European Council's cultural itineraries, and worked on the Via Egnatia project.
- The Society's research and editorial activities focused on the "New Spaces of Agriculture" theme, with the X edition of the Annual Report being particularly significant.
- The Society consolidated its relationships with the ISTAT and Inea institutions.
- The Society's photographic archive project, "Objective on the World," was partially funded by the Bank of Italy, and the Via Egnatia project was funded by the Fondazione Roma.
