Daiichi Co., Ltd. announced that its board of directors has resolved to propose a partial amendment to its articles of association at the 68th ordinary general meeting of shareholders to be held on December 23, 2022. The amendment is intended to introduce an electronic provision system for shareholder meeting materials, in accordance with the revised Company Law. The changes include: (1) introducing electronic provision measures for shareholder meeting reference materials, (2) limiting the scope of information to be included in written documents provided to shareholders who request them, and (3) deleting the provision regarding internet disclosure and deemed provision of shareholder meeting reference materials. The amendment is expected to come into effect on December 23, 2022.
