The Argumentative Performance Task Writing Rubric assesses student writing in three areas: Organization/Purpose, Evidence/Elaboration, and Conventions. Scores range from 4 (excellent) to 1 (poor) for Organization/Purpose and Evidence/Elaboration, and from 2 (adequate) to 0 (little or no command) for Conventions.
