1. Admission Requirements: Juniors and seniors must meet eligibility requirements, including ACT or SAT scores, and GPA.
Research Universities: ACT=24, SAT=1160, or 3.0 GPA (unweighted) and top 33%.
Regional Universities: ACT=20, SAT=1030, or 3.0 GPA (unweighted) and top 50%.
Community Colleges: ACT=19, SAT=990, or 3.0 GPA (unweighted).
2. Course Placement: Students must meet subject-area score requirements for college courses.
English: ACT=19, SAT=510 Evidence-Based Reading & Writing.
Math: ACT=19, SAT=510 Math.
Reading: ACT=19, SAT=510 Evidence-Based Reading & Writing.
Science: ACT=19, no SAT Science section.
3. Required Signatures: High school principal or counselor and parent/guardian must sign a concurrent college enrollment approval form.
4. Costs: Eligible seniors receive a tuition waiver for up to 18 credit hours; juniors may receive funding depending on appropriation.
Students must pay for course fees, books, and supplies.
5. Transcript: Concurrent courses are included on the high school transcript; academic credit is provided for correlated courses.
6. Workload: Students may enroll in up to 19 combined credit hours per semester; cumulative college GPA of 2.0 or above is required to continue concurrent enrollment.
