## Education Project Volunteer, Amics del Nepal (AN)

About AN: Amics del Nepal (AN) seeks dedicated volunteers for its education projects at its Activity Centre in Kathmandu, Nepal. Volunteers will contribute to impactful learning experiences for children and youth through dynamic programs lasting a minimum of three months (ideally longer).

Program Focus:

Children's Program: PBL Project (grade 6-7), EL Project (grade 8-10)
Youth Program: Youth Counselling & Support (grade 11-12), Social Week (grade 11), Social Hour (grade 12), Development Hour (interns and staff)

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement curriculum to support facilitators.
Co-facilitate class activities as needed.
Conduct research, document findings, and organize materials.
Assist project coordinator with budget planning and report writing.
Engage in team meetings and communicate updates regularly.
Build relationships with external stakeholders for project sustainability.

Qualifications & Skills:

Professional background in Education, Social Sciences or relevant experience working with youth.
Proactive, creative problem-solver with minimal supervision.
Strong research, communication, and report writing skills.
Ability to guide and support young colleagues.
Cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
Fluent English speaker; basic computer proficiency (MS Office).
