Summary

It is a busy time leading up to Christmas with inclement weather, but the school is hoping for a lot of sport this half term, starting with lower school gymnasts competing at Priestlands. The theme for assemblies is love and generosity, and the school will be collecting items for 'Christmas Treats' for Ukrainian children. The Pennington Christmas Fair is on December 2nd, and volunteers are needed to help as marshals. The cost of school meals has increased to £2.80, and a new menu is available. A Mufti Day is scheduled for November 4th to collect donations for Christmas Hampers. The school is introducing a Gymnastics Club and supporting local charities instead of Children in Need or Red Nose Day. Key dates include the Upper School mince pie assembly and cake sale on December 9th, and the last day of term is December 16th. The school has a renewed focus on attendance and is encouraging 100% attendance for all pupils.
