Odisha State Open University is a state university funded by the State Government, established by an Act of the Government of Odisha. The university offers various courses through distance education mode, with reading materials provided in print and soft copy, counseling sessions, and contact classes. Degrees, diplomas, and certificates issued by the university are recognized and treated at par with those issued by other universities. Admission processes start on June 1st for the July session and December 15th for the January session, with online admission portals available on the university website.
