The transition towards sustainable business practices requires integrating sustainability into organizational strategy, project portfolio management, and project management. However, studies on sustainability in business often focus on one level in isolation, neglecting the linkages between strategy, portfolio, and project levels. A conceptual framework is presented to interlink these practices, providing guidance for organizations to improve sustainability integration and implementation. Sustainability is widely integrated into companies' corporate purpose and strategy, with projects playing a crucial role in implementing organizational changes and sustainable development. Sustainable project management considers projects from an extended set of perspectives, but current research is limited in its coverage of practices linking projects to organizational strategy and goals. Project portfolio management connects sustainability impacts of projects to organizational sustainability strategy, but this role is still largely uncharted in literature. The study aims to establish this connection by developing a conceptual framework for interlinking practices.
