§ 177.1595: Polyester elastomers may be used in contact with food, with a number average molecular weight between 20,000 and 30,000, and may contain optional adjuvant substances such as 4,4′-Bis(alpha, alpha-dimethyl-benzyl)diphenylamine and Tetrabutyl titanate.
§ 177.1595: Polyetherimide resin may be used in contact with food, with an intrinsic viscosity in chloroform at 25 °C of not less than 0.35 deciliter per gram, and total nonvolatile extractives of not more than 12.3 micrograms per square centimeter.
§ 177.1600: Carboxyl-modified polyethylene resins may be used as the food-contact surface of articles, with total extractives in each extracting solvent not to exceed 0.5 milligram per square inch of food-contact surface.
§ 177.1610: Chlorinated polyethylene may be used in contact with food, except for articles used for packing or holding food during cooking, with a maximum of 60 percent by weight of total chlorine.
§ 177.1615: Fluorinated polyethylene may be used as food-contact articles, with prescribed conditions.
