Summary

Churchfield C.E. Primary Academy's admissions policy for 2022-2023 prioritizes applicants based on the following criteria:
1. Children in care or adopted,
2. Children with medical or exceptional circumstances,
3. Siblings of current students,
4. Children living within the catchment area, and
5. Distance from home to school, with a straight-line measurement used to determine priority.
The academy uses the Local Authority's Geographical Information System to calculate distances and considers the child's main and genuine principal place of residence at the time of allocation.
In cases where classes have reached the limit of 30 pupils, the academy may refuse catchment area or sibling applications, but will consider offering places above the Admission Number to twins or siblings from multiple births.
Parents are responsible for providing supportive information and notifying the Local Authority of any changes to their address during the admissions process.
Places offered based on incorrect addresses may be withdrawn, and the academy expects parents to agree on school places before applying.
