Job Summary:
The Chief of Service will lead the Resources and Markets Branch in UNEP's Economy Division, managing a team and overseeing the implementation of the Branch's program of work. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the design and implementation of programs related to sustainable consumption and production, resource efficiency, and finance and economic transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategically lead the implementation of the Branch's work program
2. Provide strategic guidance and direction to initiatives and units within the Branch
3. Promote resource mobilization and partnerships to achieve Branch objectives
4. Evaluate Branch needs and identify opportunities for collaboration with UN entities, international organizations, governments, and NGOs
5. Manage administrative, budget, and personnel issues within the Branch
6. Perform representative functions on behalf of the Economy Division and UNEP
