Henkilötietojen käsittely koskee Pihtiputaan kunnan luottamushenkilöiden ja viranhaltijoiden sidonnaisuusilmoituksia, joita käsitellään kuntalain 84 §:n perusteella. Rekisteriin tallennetaan luottamus- ja virkatehtävän hoitamisen kannalta merkitykselliset sidonnaisuudet, kuten johtotehtävät ja luottamustoimet elinkeinotoimintaa harjoittavissa yrityksissä ja muissa yhteisöissä, merkittävä varallisuus ja muut sidonnaisuudet. Tiedot poistetaan rekisteristä ilmoitusvelvollisuuden piiriin kuuluvan luottamustoimen tai tehtävän päättyessä ja arkistoidaan arkistonmuodostussuunnitelman mukaisesti. Rekisterin tietoja ei luovuteta EU- tai ETA-maiden ulkopuolelle.
