The BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure is proposing to upgrade a 4-kilometer segment of Highway 7 between 266th Street and 287th Street in Maple Ridge from two lanes to four lanes. The project aims to alleviate traffic congestion, improve safety, and increase highway capacity, reliability, and efficiency.

Widening the highway from two lanes to four lanes
