Dr Workneh Gebeyehu, IGAD Executive Secretary, welcomed delegates to the 8th IDDRSI Platform General Assembly, noting the region's worst food insecurity crisis, affecting 50 million people, with Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia being the most affected.
